We launched our first watch, the Automatic S1 in 1993, which became a great breakthrough for our brand. The watch was presented in a handcrafted box made from Swedish birch wood and the model itself introduced a completely new concept of Swedish watch design and craftsmanship. This concept rewarded us with several prizes and a lot of attention within the watch industry.

For example, in 1995 we received the prestigious design award, “Utmärkt Svensk Form”. Some of the design from Automatic S1 still lives on within our Royal Steel family. We have kept attributes such as, the crown at two o’clock for optimal wrist comfort and the specially designed bezel, which represents our place in the universe – Stockholm/Sweden/the World.

The watch will be limited to 100 pieces and featured with a unique “anniversary” closed case-back with a 25th anniversary logo. On the newly designed dial we have highlighted the anniversary symbols discretely with a red signature color. For us, this color represents some of our collector’s items from the past. Both Chronolink Worldtimer UTC and Royal Steel Classic 37 mm was specially manufactured with a red exclusive dial, a rare combination. When designing this 25th anniversary tribute watch, we felt the importance of combining our DNA with the roots of the very first watch, Automatic S1.
