Each year we will launch a unique and limited edition of the iconic Royal Steel Classic. This exclusive edition, available in only 86 pieces, celebrates our legacy as well as the irresistible passage of time. Just as the number of pieces available stem from our beginnings in 1986, so does the design of the Royal Steel Classic Annual Edition – spiked with a contemporary touch. We hereby invite you to enjoy a rare and highly exclusive version of a classic timepiece.
This year’s version of the Royal Steel Classic Annual Edition truly embraces our interpretation of Swedish luxury. The exclusive timepiece comes with a forest-green dial and the yearly annual badge of 2019 engraved at the back of the case adding a stylish and distinct aura to this year’s singular statement. As a Swedish manufacturer we treasure our heritage, often expressed through experiences in nature, and present this annual limited-edition timepiece in a handcrafted box made from Swedish birch wood.
The Swedish forest, is not only green and dark but also light and bright by virtue of the prevalent birch. This dynamic contrast is quietly manifested in the handcrafted box, made from Swedish birch wood, that carries the limited-edition watch. The birch’s soft and light color creates balance and perfect harmony with the deeper forest green.
Automatic S1 is launched – first wrist watch made in Sweden. Awarded with Excellent Swedish Design 1995.

Green. Deep. And utterly profound. The Swedish forest, covering nearly seventy per cent of the land, is seemingly everywhere. It is indeed safe to say that the forest, with its silent tone, spiritual ambience and grand pervasiveness, has played a major part in shaping the Swedish psyche and society.
